Nerite Snail
Nerite Snails are one of the most popular
freshwater aquarium snails today and are almost always offered at chain stores
and local pet stores. Nerite Snails in many cases are sold as freshwater
aquarium snails, although there are a few saltwater varieties as well. Nerite
Snails possess among the very adept algae eating snails around plus a
reputation for being tank cleansers that are excellent. That Nerite Snails are
generally referred cleaning crew. Nerite Snails might be referred to as being
peaceful docile and tranquil in temperament, and have the ability to maneuver
throughout the tank easily.
Appearance
It is small size

any other hard outermost layer of the tank. Avoid Nerite Snails which are on
the underparts of the the tank lying down and motionless. Snails which might be
lying on their backs could possibly be dying or dead. Also look to ensure the
snail shell isn’t empty. You want to be sure to aren't purchasing an empty
shell.
Feeding
Horned Nerite
Snails can simply be fed commercial flake and pellet food. If there's no debris
or algae left to consume supplemental feeding is merely required by them. They
are cleaners that are efficient and will make the glass and substrate very clean.
They're not fussy eaters. The filter needs to be turned off during feeding to
permit the food where it's readily accessible for the Horned Nerite Snails, to
float to the substrate.
Behavior
Make its way
outside of the tank and the Horned Nerite Snail can tend to escape from a tank.
It is known as a tidal snail and can reside outside of water. Just pick them up
and put them back in of the tank. The Horned Nerite Snail will survive so long
as they have not been for too long out of the tank. Look round the tank
sometimes for potential escapes and it is recommend to keep an eye to them.
It's presumed that when the snail is uncomfortable it'll escape, but WOn't when
joyful.

Nerite Snails tank
teammates can include most invertebrates and fish suitable for a freshwater

should not include any competitive invertebrates or fish. Thus avoid cichlids,
aquarium crayfish, Goldfish and loaches.
